Listen to Mr Doogan introducing the topic of Railways to you on the tutorial video.
Then, using the texts, complete the reading comprehension questions. Remember to use your skills of skimming and scanning as well as inference. Mr Doogan has done another video for those of you who would like the information to be read out to you :)

Train Timetables
We use timetables to let people know what is happening and when. The railways use timetables to let their passengers know when the trains are departing, arriving and how long journeys will take.
Use your knowledge of time to interpret the information from the timetables and answer the questions. For those that fancy an extra challenge, there are some real timetables from Irlam Railway station. Can you answer the questions that Mr Doogan has set?
